Will business accept new societal demands? The future of corporate reporting
Mervyn King is a South African corporate attorney, arbitrator, mediator, corporate director, commission chair, author and speaker. A former judge of the Supreme Court of South Africa, he is best known for chairing the King Committee on Corporate Governance, which issued three comprehensive reports in 1994, 2002 and 2009 endorsing an integrated and inclusive approach to corporate governance in South Africa. Mervyn E. King is the Emeritus Chairman of the Global Reporting Initiative. He was Chairman of the GRI Board of Directors from 2007 until 2011.
