Its primary goal is to facilitate economic integration and cooperation among its 56 member States and promote sustainable development and economic prosperity. The UNECE focuses on environment, transport, statistics, sustainable energy, trade, forests and timber, housing and land management, population issues, economic cooperation and integration.
