Internship announcement

The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) is looking for an Albanian speaking intern:
(a) to support the preparation of the 3rd Environmental Performance Review of Albania;
(b) to support the work on green economy.

The period of this internship is December 2016 – March 2017 (a slightly shorter period is possible).

The candidate would need to satisfy the general eligibility criteria for UNECE internships, namely:
-Be enrolled in an advanced degree programme in a graduate school (second university degree or equivalent, or higher);
-Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor's level or equivalent);
-Have graduated with a university degree (as defined above) and, if selected, must commence the internship either prior to graduation, or within a one year period of graduation.

Specific requirements for this internship include:
-Education in environmental policy, environmental management, economic studies, law, international relations or related field;
-Preferably, experience in Albanian-English translation.

The internship is offered without financial remuneration. All costs connected with the internship, including travel, accommodation and insurance, are to be borne by the intern or his/her sponsor. Detailed conditions of the UNECE Internship Programme are described at:
