Denisa Rodila is a Software Engineer and a Project Manager in Environmental Sciences on European projects, at the UN Environmental Programme's (UNEP) Global Resource Information Database Geneva (GRID-Geneva).

Denisa Rodila is a Software Engineer and a Project Manager in Environmental Sciences on European projects, at the UNEP/GRID-Geneva.  She previously obtained a PhD degree both in Computer Science (Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania) and Environmental Sciences (University of Geneva, Switzerland), being specialized in parallel and distributed computing and in large scale environmental applications. She is currently involved in different European projects and her research interests include distributed computing and intelligent systems, with focus on Cloud, Cluster and service-oriented technologies, large scale applications, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence.
