Scientific Assistant for Digitalisation

Markus Böhm is the Scientific Assistant for Digitalisation at the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN).

Markus Böhm finished his computer science degree at the University Dortmund in Germany. In 2001, he moved to Switzerland and worked for 17 years at Microsoft as a strategic advisor for the Federal Government of Switzerland. After which, he became a lecturer at the University Lucerne and taught Machine Learning and Digitalisation, until finally moving to FOEN in the beginning of 2021. In my new role as Scientific Assistant, he is responsible for the topic on digitalisation
