Alessandra Roversi is responsible for Sustainable Consumption and Communications projects in the French-speaking region of Switzerland for Biovision Foundation, a Swiss organization.
She has 10 years of working experience in institutional and corporate communications for organizations such as the Global Commission on International Migration, DuPont and a City Council. Before joining Biovision, she developed projects and taught as a consultant for several years on local agriculture and sustainable food policies, food tourism campaigns and as a food scout for clients such as the Swiss government, the Slow Food Association and private food companies. She also has a side interest in “gastrodiplomacy” or how states use food as a soft power communication tool to attract tourists, investments or an overall positive image.
Alessandra studied International Relations at the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva and a Master in Food Culture and Communications from the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Italy.
