Kristin Hughes is the Director of the Global Plastic Action Partnership and a member of the Executive Committee of the World Economic Forum.

Kristin Hughes is the Director of the Global Plastic Action Partnership and a member of the Executive Committee of the World Economic Forum. Prior to this role, she founded Cranbrook International, a boutique firm based in London focusing on sustainability, communications, reputation, stakeholder engagement, and corporate responsibility. Kristin also worked at Mars serving as the Global Director of Sustainability, Health and Wellbeing in the UK and Global Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Director in Belgium. Before joining Mars, she held several positions in corporations such as Hasbro, Gap and Hewlett Packard, in addition to the public sector such as Press Advance Lead for the Dole-Kemp U.S. presidential campaign.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations, German and Political Science from Willamette University and a Juris Doctor from the American University’s Washington College of Law.
