The online international Climate Adaptation Summit (CAS) 2021 on 25 and 26 January, hosted by the Netherlands, convenes global leaders and local stakeholders. It will see the launch of a comprehensive Adaptation Action Agenda that sets out clear commitments to deliver concrete new endeavours and partnerships to make our world more resilient to the effects of climate change. Various actors of international Geneva are taking part in this major event.

The Climate Adaptation Summit (CAS) 2021 will streamline action along 11 tracks, to address specific challenges that come with climate change.

  8. Locally Led Adaptation

The Anchoring Events at the backbone of the CAS 2021 programme are to develop actions on these themes, streamed from around the globe over the course of 24 hours starting 25 January. In chronological order (CET = UTC+1):

These Anchoring Events focus on the CAS 2021 Action Themes and will allow stakeholders to share best practices and coordinate actions, combining the knowledge and needs of different regions.

The Action Themes will also structure other components of the online Summit programme, including the Supporting Events and Side Events that are contributed by partners all over the world.
