Call for Submission | Trillion Trees: the Sahel and the Great Green Wall (deadline 23 April)

The Challenge is calling for innovative and ecopreneurial approaches to landscape restoration that contribute to the vision of the Great Green Wall Initiative and deliver benefits to people and environment of the Sahel.

Africa’s Great Green Wall for the Sahara and the Sahel Initiative, led by the African Union Commission, is a bold vision to restore 100 million hectares of degraded land across the continent by 2030.

1t.org and UpLink are launching the Trillion Trees Challenge for the Sahel & the Great Green Wall. The Challenge is calling for successful examples of landscape restoration that contribute to the vision of the Great Green Wall Initiative and deliver benefits to people and environment of the Sahel. Submissions are welcomed until 23 April 2021.
