WikiForHumanRights 2021
Take part in the WikiForHumanRights campaign, an action to promote open-knowledge about human rights. This year, the campaign focuses on the Right to a Healthy Environment, and will cover topics related to the intersection of human rights and environmental issues.
To celebrate Earth Day (22 April), the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, UN Environment Programme, and Wikimedia Foundation are co-sponsoring a campaign on human rights and the environment from 15 April to 15 May 2021. The campaign will facilitate community-run events to draft and edit Wikipedia articles on the human impacts of environmental crises and obligations of States and businesses to prevent them. The event will create opportunities for experts, volunteer editors and the public to have an exchange about the human right to a healthy environment.
