Berta Pesti is the Head of the Secretariat of Central African Forest Initiative (CAFI) at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Her previous roles at UNDP was Technical Advisor for REDD+ Finance and a Technical Specialist on Climate Change. She was also a delegate at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
Berta holds a JD in Law from the Eotvos Lorand University, Budapest, an LLM in Environmental Law from the Université Robert Schuman (Strasbourg III) and a master’s degree in Finance and Financial Law from the University of London.
