Dina Ionesco is a Manager at the United Nations Climate Secretariat (UNFCCC).

Dina Ionesco is a Manager at the United Nations Climate Secretariat (UNFCCC) Previously, she joined the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in 2011 and she is currently the Head of Migration, Environment and Climate Change Division. She started her career in 1998 at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) as Administration in the Local employment and development programme. She then worked as a consultant and researcher independently and for IOM. After joining IOM, she served as Policy Officer from 2011 to 2013, then as Focal Point for Migration, Environment and Climate Change from 2013 to 2015.

Dina holds a master’s degree in European Studies from Sussex University and a diploma in Business Studies from the London School of Economics. She has also published several articles and reports on environment and In 2016, she received the “Inspirational Women in Geneva Working for the Environment” award.
