Hélionor De Anzizu is a Staff Attorney for the Environmental Health Program of the Center for International Environmental Law (CIEL).

Biography

Hélionor De Anzizu is a Staff Attorney in the Environmental Health Program of the Center for International Environmental Law (CIEL) in Geneva. Her work focuses mainly in international investment law and international trade law in the context of climate change, the environment and human rights, and in particular in the context of fossil fuels, extractive industries and plastic pollution. Hélionor trained in international arbitration in International and Swiss Law firms. She also trained with the Secretariat of the Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce and with a Big Four Company.

Hélionor is a French PhD student in International Law at the Sorbonne University in Paris. She also holds an LL.B in Law and two Masters degrees, one in International Business Law from the University of Paris and another in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the University Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. She works indistinctly in French, Spanish, English and Portuguese.
