The 24th edition of the Geneva International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights (FIFDH) is taking place from 6 to 15 March 2026. Taking place in the margins of HRC61, this year’s edition features the environment highly as the various films, exhibitions and conferences tackle the interlinkages between human rights issues and toxics, minerals and metals, Indigenous People’s rights, environmental (and) human rights defenders, and questions on economic growth, among others.

FIFDH Impact Days

The FIFDH Impact Days bring together NGOs, filmmakers, impact practitioners, and funders to find joint strategies around common human rights themes, including on the environment. Taking place from 8 to 10 March 2026, the 8th edition of Impact Days featured documentary projects, with the goal of working with filmmakers to refine their impact goals, and facilitate partnerships within the vast ecosystem of organizations, policymakers and funders active around International Geneva. → Discover the program.
