7ème rencontre GE-EN-VIE | Changements globaux: s’adapter grâce au socle du vivant

About this Event

The 7th GE-EN-VIE Gathering “Global change: adapting through the foundation of life“ was hosted at the International Environment House, on Tuesday, 24 June 2025.

GE-EN-VIE is an interdisciplinary network supporting the Ecological Transition in Greater Geneva, founded by the State of Geneva, the University of Geneva and the HES-SO/Genève (HEPIA). It is designed to support knowledge and communication about the environment, to improve the quality of life in the broader Geneva region. To contribute to this transition, the GE-EN-VIE network compiles new knowledge on the environment (Laboratory) and records various indicators relating to the quality of the environment (Observatory). Through its Platform, the network provides the public and elected representatives with essential information to guide public policy and adapt behaviours.

The event featured a keynote address on the need to move to better sustainability discussions, followed by presentations and workshops, and concluded with a light reception.
