A Case for Nature | Building a Coalition for Nature-based Recovery

To celebrate Earth Day, the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) is hosting a virtual briefing  on “Building a Coalition for Nature-based Recovery”. The event will address the unique opportunity arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, and the contribution IUCN and its State Members to build back greener, healthier and stronger.

The event will open with a keynote address by Professor Sir Partha Dasgupta, author of The Economics of Biodiversity: The Dasgupta Review. This will be followed by a panel discussion featuring high-level representatives from the Governments of China and Korea, the European Union, the International Labour Organization and  NESPRESSO.

This briefing is open to IUCN Member States.
