The 9th Annual Forum on Business and Human Rights - world's largest annual gathering on business and human rights - is taking place virtually from 16 to 18 November 2020.
The 9th Annual Forum on Business and Human Rights will allow participants to take part in panel discussions on topics that relate to the Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (the United Nations “Protect, Respect and Remedy” Framework), as well as current business-related human rights issues.
This year the Forum is held under the theme “Preventing business-related human rights abuses: The key to a sustainable future for people and planet” and will convene various sessions related to the environment:
- Preventing abuses of Indigenous Peoples’ rights in the business context: a key issue for responsible business and sustainable development | 16 November 2020 | 16:00-17:15
- Building back better to prevent climate crisis: What states and businesses need to do | 18 November 2020 | 9:00-10:15
