ODD14: Vie aquatique
L'humanité dépend des océans de la Planète – de leur température, leur chimie, leurs courants et leur faune. Les océans, les lacs, les mers et les rivières régulent les températures, absorbent le dioxyde de carbone, soutiennent les moyens de subsistance de milliards de personnes et hébergent d'innombrables espèces de vie marine. Pour atteindre cet objectif, il faut prendre des mesures audacieuses pour réduire la pollution marine et l'acidification des océans, conserver et restaurer les environnements marins, promouvoir une pêche durable et appliquer efficacement le droit de la mer.
