The UN/CEFACT Forum has played a pivotal role in shaping the future of trade facilitation and electronic business, supporting global trade and value chains management for sustainable development, and fostering collaboration among professionals from around the world.

The forum is filled with domain sessions, panel discussions, conferences and lunch and learns. The in-person event will cover the work of UN/CEFACT across different domains and focus on the following topics:

  • Cross-border Trade in Agricultural Goods
  • ESG Traceability of Sustainable Value Chains in the Circular Economy

  • Verifiable Credentials for Traceability and Sustainability, API’s using the BSP Vocabulary
  • BSP Data Exchange Structures for Trade Finance Facilitation and other interesting topics.

Session of interest

Team of Specialists on ESG Traceability of Sustainable Value Chains in the Circular Economy will deep dive into the foundational elements of an ESG monitoring and reporting protocol, looking at issues from a cross-sectorial and sector-specific perspectives in key value chains for the transition to a circular economy.

Resilience of Global Supply Chains in Times of Crisis – Supporting a Sustainable Recovery with Green and Digital Solutions is aimed at taking stock of the complex issues of disruptions in global supply chains and potential ways to address them, including through the digital solutions and instruments developed by UN/CEFACT.
