SDG8: Decent work and economic growth
Despite the impact of the 2008 economic and financial crisis, in the last decades employment and world GDP growth have lifted millions out of poverty. However, growth is slowing and inequalities are growing rapidly. Achieving this objective requires bold action to support sustainable economic growth, innovation and job creation, to protect and foster workers' rights, and to end modern slavery, child labour and trafficking.
