Remi Parmentier

Co-founder of the Varda Group, a consultancy specialized in strategic development and advocacy, Rémi Parmentier is a veteran ocean advocate with a trajectory that goes back to the mid-1970s. He develops projects and campaigns in partnership with foundations, NGOs, governments, intergovernmental and corporate alliances. He has served over the years since the early 1980s on the delegations of several governments and organizations at many international policy fora. A prolific columnist, Rémi wrote in 2022 From Blue Food for Thought to Blue Food for Action, an essay on innovative approaches to ocean protection.
