SDG2: Zero hunger
The number of undernourished people has dropped by almost half in the past two decades, however, extreme hunger and malnutrition remain a huge barrier to development in many countries. There are about 820 million people estimated to be undernourished as of 2020. Achieving this objective requires bold action to ensure access to food, to develop sustainable forms of agriculture that increase yields while maintaining genetic diversity in crops, and to promote investments in technology.
