The world is facing a plastic crisis. The status quo is not an option. Plastic pollution has become a global concern that requires an urgent and international response involving all relevant actors at different levels. Over the past years, several major multilateral processes and global environmental negotiations have engaged in steps to address plastic pollution. This report presents the outcomes of the first series Geneva Beat Plastic Pollution dialogues, which aimed to build on this momentum and facilitate further engagement and discussion among the stakeholders in International Geneva and beyond.
